KSHANIK SANGHA ENTERS THE BLOCKBUSTER DURGA PUJA WAGON OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 01st October, 2016: Siliguri Kshanik Sangha’s Durga Puja enters 47th year this season. The theme is already declared as “Janapathe Mishe Gache Manusher Bhir, Pujoi Beriye Aashe Jaisalmer” (While the Crowd come along the city, they can witness Jaisalmer in this Puja). The main intention was clarified by the secretary of the Kshanik Sangha Durga Puja Committee Mr. Bunty Dutta. He said that the theme basically is to make the puja hoppers get a Rajasthan’s Feel while witnessing the Puja of Siliguri’s Kshanik Sangha this year. The people can see a gigantic 50 ft high camel in the midst of the ground. Apart from this some real camels are also going to be brought from Rajasthan. The pandal is being made with glass, fibre, polycarbon etc. The idol of Devi Durga is also going to be in a different shape. He did not want to disclose of this secret.

As far as the social contribution is concerned Mr. Dutta said that “It’s a regular feature of Kshanik Sangha to distribute clothes among the poor during Durga Puja and this year too there is no exception. Apart from this prasad is also going to be distributed during Mahasthami.” Another important feature is going to be that the entire field area of Kshanik Sangha will become free WiFi Zone, which is done in collaboration of a local internet providing Service Company.According to the club officials the Pandal Inauguration will be done on Chathurthi i.e. 5th October 2016 at around 8 pm. The planned inaugurators are Siliguri Police Station IC Mr. Debasish Bose, IC Crime Branch Mr. Achinta Gupta and Businessman Mr. Kajal Sarkar. On 6th of October the club officials are going to felicitate the meritorious students of the area. One of the main attraction during the Bisharjan Procession of Kshanik Sangha will be Living camels will be accompanying the carnival parade along with lots of traditional Dhaks and Dhakis. The club officials invited the whole of Siliguri, North Bengal and even West Bengal to visit Kshanik Sangha’s Durga Puja premises this year.
